Color is her muse. Pastels and Oils help her along the way.
It is the emotional appeal of both color and light that draws her in and their sensual play that holds her attention. It is her hope to draw the viewer into her paintings for these same reasons. And once they are drawn in, perhaps they will linger a while. Whether painting outside or in her studio She is intrigued and bemused by what nature has to offer. It is constantly changing and always promising. It is never straight forward and continually offers to challenge her and keeps her coming back..
From art educator to artist and back to both, she continues to explore different ways to express herself and interpret the world around her. She loves to travel and paint and have done both extensively, participating in workshops in Europe and the US. It gives her great joy to have my work on display and to see the response from people all over.
