Beginning with tools he made in his early Tool and Die Apprentice years and Dan discovered a love for the metal arts. Along the way he gravitated to copper as his favorite material. Like many artists, the forms of his art varied: jewelry, architectural lanterns, bowls, masks, and sculpture.

Along the way his creative interests varied as well. Scale models, tools, industrial art, painting, sketching, restorations, writing, photography.   Dan has published a book about this family's journey from Russia to the United States. It is titled "How We Got Here.: It is available on Amazon.
